Drink Recipe....Tequila Tangerine

Tequila Tangerine Dream
1 tangerine (1/2 for juice and 1/2 for tangerine slices)
2 sprigs fresh lavender
1 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. silver tequila
crushed ice
club soda
Peel the tangerine. Juice half of it and set the juice aside. Remove pith from the other half and cut into small pieces. Put tangerine at the bottom of a tall glass, then add the syrup, juice and some lavender petals. Muddle this mixture.  Pour in tequila. Pack crushed ice on top of this and then top off with club soda. Garnish with lavender or tangerine twists. (It's prettier to leave the lavender petals in, but if you would be bothered by some getting in your mouth, strain them out)

Beauty Tip....Lip Sugar Scrub

INGREDIENTS:

olive oil

sugar

vanilla (optional)

I actually never measure the ingredients.  Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and scrub onto your lips until all dead skin is gone. 

This leaves your lips soft, silky, and kissable!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon became the parents of Girl and Boy twins over the weekend!  They have yet to release their names.

Frankie Lons Arrested....AGAIN

Over the weekend Keyshia Cole's biological mother, Frankie Lons, was arrested again!

She was stopped for a routine traffic violation and the police found out she had a warrent out for her arrest.  When they performed a search, they found "drug related material".  Poor Frankie!  I hope she gets her act together!

Barack Obama Announces The Death of Osama Bin Ladin

Ok, I don't normally post news on here because I don't watch the news....it's depressing.  But I felt like I needed to post this.

Earlier this evening, Our President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden, the Saudi extremist whose al-Qaida terrorist organization killed more than 3,000 people in coordinated attacks on the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001, is dead following a military operation in Pakistan and the U.S. has recovered his body.
