For those who prefer a different kind of food, but still want a festive feel, Chick-fil-A at 2640 Windy Hill Road will have a live mariachi band, dancers, carnival rides, games and prizes from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. Kids can get coupons for free Icedream.
Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant in Stone Mountain will offer Cinco de Mayo specials, but everything is, already, pretty inexpensive. Guest favorites include guacamole and loaded nachos. The restaurant has been in the area for a while and neighborhood residents love to visit the restaurant's veteran server "Oscar".
